7. Lactancia materna y fármacos antiasmáticos
7.6 BUDESONIDA INHALADA

Corticoides.Budesonida. Lactancia. Riesgo Es el corticoide inhalado preferido porque le avalan estudios de seguridad. Pocos datos hay con otras formulaciones. Sin embargo es recomendable continuar con otras formulaciones si existe un buen control del asma.

Alcanza concentraciones insignificantes en leche. Su baja biodisponibilidad oral protege al lactante de su absorción. 

Los expertos consideran que los corticoides tópicos, orales o inhalados, son compatibles con la lactancia. 

Nivel 0: Riesgo muy bajo. Compatible y sin riesgo para la lactancia y el lactante
